Measurement Widgets

A measurement widget shows the readings for a given set of devices.

To add a measurement widget to your dashboard, follow these steps:

Step 1

Login into your account.

Step 2

Select the system.

Step 3

Click on “Add Widget”.

Step 4

Now select “Measurement” on the widget category and also the information type.

Step 5

Now fill in the fields with all the widget parameters.

The parameters will be different depending on the selected widget.

Step 6

Click “Add”.

Accumulated Reading

Title - Widget brief description shown in the Widget body.
Unit - Reading Unit. Only devices compatible with this unit will be available for selection. With Widgets containing both Instant and Accumulated readings you’ll be asked Units for each one.
Devices - Select which devices will be considered for the Widget value readings.
Link Navigation Options - The user can create links to Devices, Reports, Rules, Zones, Dashboards.

Double Trend

Title - Widget brief description shown in the Widget body.
Unit - Reading Unit. Only devices compatible with this unit will be available for selection. With Widgets containing both Instant and Accumulated readings you’ll be asked Units for each one.
Devices - Select which devices will be considered for the Widget value readings.
Higher is Better - When activating / deactivating this button the trend color will change.
- Activated - The highest value will be green and the lower will be red.
- Deactivated - The lower value will be green and the higher will be red.
Link Navigation Options - The user can create links to Devices, Reports, Rules, Zones, Dashboards.

Trend

Title - Widget brief description shown in the Widget body.
Unit - Reading Unit. Only devices compatible with this unit will be available for selection. With Widgets containing both Instant and Accumulated readings you’ll be asked Units for each one.
Devices - Select which devices will be considered for the Widget value readings.
Higher is Better - When activating / deactivating this button the trend color will change.
- Activated - The highest value will be green and the lower will be red.
- Deactivated - The lower value will be green and the higher will be red.

Instant Reading

Device Operation - Two options will be available:
- SUM - It will make a sum of the selected devices.
- Average - Will make an average of the selected devices.
Link Navigation Options - The user can create links to Devices, Reports, Rules, Zones, Dashboards.

Instant Reading with Image

Title - Widget brief description shown in the Widget body.
Unit - Reading Unit. Only devices compatible with this unit will be available for selection. With Widgets containing both Instant and Accumulated readings you’ll be asked Units for each one.
Devices - Select which devices will be considered for the Widget value readings.
Device Operation - Two options will be available:
- SUM - It will make a sum of the selected devices.
- Average - Will make an average of the selected devices.
Image - In this field the user can upload an image to be displayed on the widget.
Link Navigation Options - The user can create links to Devices, Reports, Rules, Zones, Dashboards.

Instant and Accumulated Readings

Title - Widget brief description shown in the Widget body.
IR Unit - Instant Unit. Only devices compatible with this unit will be available for selection. With Widgets containing both Instant and Accumulated readings you’ll be asked Units for each one.
HAR Unit - Accumulated Unit. Only devices compatible with this unit will be available for selection. With Widgets containing both Instant and Accumulated readings you’ll be asked Units for each one.
Merged - With this option enabled, only devices that are merged will appear.
Devices - Select which devices will be considered for the Widget value readings.
Device Operation - Two options will be available:
- SUM - It will make a sum of the selected devices.
- Average - Will make an average of the selected devices.
Link Navigation Options - The user can create links to Devices, Reports, Rules, Zones, Dashboards.

Multiline

Step 1

Here the user must choose the widget size.

Step 3

Label - It is the label that will appear to identify the selected device.
Unit - Reading Unit. Only devices compatible with this unit will be available for selection. With Widgets containing both Instant and Accumulated readings you’ll be asked Units for each one.
Device - Select which device will be considered for the Widget value reading.

Multiline Comparison

Step 1

Desired - In this field, the desired value will appear to be compared with the current value and calculate the difference between the two values.
