Add Field Device

Field device is the physical device that will be used to collect information.

To add a new Field Device, follow these steps:

1. Open your system.

2. Select your gateway.

3. Go to “Field Devices” and click on the plus button.

4. Select a template from the list. On this tutorial we will use a modbus device.

5. Insert the name and location where the Field Device is installed.

6. Choose the configuration of the device on this case we will select TCP connection.

The configuration section will depend on the type of device and the parameters that this device has.

7. Confirm the summary and finish the operation.
